Teachers of advanced and/or gifted students are faced with many issues, including how to identify students and how to best serve them academically, creatively, and socially/emotionally. This population often flies under the radar, because these students may be working at or above grade level. Statistics show that gifted students who aren't challenged have difficulty when they reach higher grade levels, though, so engaging them now is important!
