4th Grade Knights 

In the first quarter 4th graders will learn: 

Math: Establish classroom community and routines, place value through hundred-thousand, addition and subtraction strategies and algorithms, and multiplication with word problems. 

ELA:  Writing a personal letter,  analyzing the text to build comprehension, graphic features, integrating knowledge from two articles,  identifying key details and main idea, and drawing inferences. 

Science: Organisms and structures: Learning internal/external structures of plants and animals and their roles in survival and reproduction. 

Social Studies: U.S. regional geography: Exploring cultural, economic, and political development across different U.S. regions.
