Session 1:

On our first Youth Fellowship OLP, we started off by introducing ourselves, after that we played a really fun welcome game called Rummikub. We were split into teams of 2 and although there were only 6 people including teachers in our Youth Fellowship, we still had lots of fun putting together numbers and working together as a team. After a pretty long and intense game, we worshiped God by singing hymns in English and Chinese. We also did Bible study on Psalm 23 - The Lord is My Shepherd. 

Session 2:

We started off the second OLP session by singing hymns in Cantonese and English to worship God. Afterwards, we prayed together and discussed Luke 15:11-32 - The Parable of the Lost Son. During the discussion, we shared our thoughts the story, especially relating the story to our own lives, such as our relationship with our parents and how we think they would react if they were the father in the parable. As we shared a lot about our family, we got to know about each other more. Lastly, we prayed for one of our members who was sick that day, and for our tests coming up.  

Session 3:

In the 3rd OLP meeting (4 Nov), we began by playing a game of UNO together. Next, we worshipped God by singing some hymns. Lastly, we had a Bible study session on The Parable of the Sower. We had a discussion on our personal experiences regarding the passage, such as our anxieties which may hinder us from fully understanding God’s Word and further acceptance and spreading of His Word.

Session 4:

Time flies and it is already our 4th OLP meeting (14/1)! We first did some sharing and reflecting on how we deal with stress by using some cards with inspiring words. We then worshiped by singing hymns, and studied Psalm 90 together. We were encouraged by the promises of God that although life is short and filled with sorrow and trouble, God has always been our home. The most important thing is He has given us eternal life, which makes our lives meaningful and joyful because of His unconditional love, and enables us to live with faith, hope and love. 

Session 5:

On 10th February, we had our fifth and final meeting of the Youth Fellowship OLP. We started our meeting by playing a game, where we discussed a selection of self-affirmation cards and our feelings towards them. This allowed us to understand ourselves better. Then, we sang hymns to worship God. Lastly, we studied the Bible passage Philippians 4:4-9, and discussed how we could think thoughts that honour God and place our trust in Him.
