We started off our first OLP by a guessing game which helps us to know more about each other. After that, we worshiped God by singing hymns and learnt about Him through reading Ephesians 1:1-14, a Bible passage about spiritual blessings in Christ. We benefited from each others' thoughts on the passage.

We knew more about each other by playing card games. Then, we worshiped God and read John 15, which is about Jesus being the real vine, His Father the gardener and us the branches. We are reminded to remain in Jesus and His words, and to love one another. We are also encouraged that God loves us that He chose us to be His friends and invites us to be blessed by staying in Him.

For the welcoming game, we passed rubber bands on to each other's straws which are held by our mouths. Then, we worshipped God by singing hymns. We conducted a Bible study session after that. We shared our ideas on fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

We started our first meeting in 2020 by sharing our new year resolutions with each other. We are also invited to encourage and pray for one another. After worship, we watched a movie called 'War Room', which is about a family, with the wife motivated by an old lady, going closer to God in face of their problems.
