This speech is an example of narrative structure. This is because I was able to bring up the pros of my topic, and the cons, and come to a decision while creating a progressing story. This is a useful skill to have in journalism because your audience is going to want something that flows, and you are going to want to effectively get your point across. Through this project, I learned about the dog breeding problem, and how to cite work in MLA format.

This feature article piece shows mastery in reporting and narrative structure. I was able to select significant and relevant quotes from an interview I conducted to compliment my story. I was able to gather research and personal information to provide a clear, progressing story. I learned how to correctly insert quotes into a story, and include data that goes along with it.
