Myers Park has several fun music-related clubs and organizations that would be excellent opportunities for students wanting to engage with music beyond the orchestra.
We are a group of devoted student musicians who meet twice a week to play Chamber music. We perform at orchestra concerts and also will have the opportunity to attend CSO concerts. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15 to 3:15 after school in the Band Room (A4).

We get together once a week to play bluegrass music together. Our club has existed for a while here now and we plan on keeping up the legacy. It's a lot of fun for all the members and gives us a reason to get together. We play multiple times in the year for different groups of people. We play for the Charlotte Folks Society during an exhibition, we always play in the talent show, and we play in the quad multiple times each year. It's a love for many members, and it brings alumni back to see us again.
