Molly Fara is currently the Associate Director in the Secretariat of Child and Youth Protection at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in Washington, D.C. Ms. Fara earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. She also earned a post graduate Professional Educators License with Social Work Endorsement. Ms. Fara has clinical experience in community mental health centers and inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse hospitals. For nearly a decade she worked with adult victim/survivors of childhood sexual abuse and was Director of Child and Youth Protection for the Diocese of Joliet in Illinois. She currently works on a national and international level advocating for prevention programming and continued research. Ms. Fara provides consultation and trainings for organizational leaders and frontline staff.
