Discussing The Role of United Nations Member States in Upholding Warrants Issued by the International Criminal Court
This committee topic will explore the challenges faced by UN members in upholding warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) when they collide with national interest, diplomatic alliances, or political considerations. Delegates will debate on strengthening compliance and mandates with the ICC while considering state sovereignty, international law, and accountability for alleged war crimes against humanity.

*The ICC Rep is a new idea we are trying out. They would represent the court at the SC. The ICC has a connection to the UN (details here). This assignment would be given to a delegate with experience and the desire to try something new. They would be a voting member.
