In my second year of research, I studied the affect that plastic NE transformation in prostate cancer has on immune cells in the tumor microenvrionment. I proposed that the development of NE cells in the prostate would lead to a decrease in the number of immune cells in the TME. This could have implications for immunotherapy and ADT.
