Student Advisory Council
What Is SAC?
SAC is a select group of students that discuss/creates events and policies concerning our school. SAC works closely with The Principal and Vice Principal.
What do they do?
Sac members have weekly meets with the Principal and Vice Principal. They decide if rules should be changed/updated, or bring students ideas to the school committee.
Members will sometimes attend monthly school committee meetings and organize events.
Sac is in charge of 8th grade tours.
How to Join
Sac is a highly selective leadership. Prospective members (open to only freshman) will first fill out an application form to submit to the committee. It includes short answer questions, along with an essay. Once these are reviewed by the committee, a few applicants will be selected to be interviewed. The two members are then selected after this process. The application process occurs at the start of the school year.
The club advisor is Principal Lizotte. Contact him by school email if you have questions about SAC. Or ask an SAC member!
