Through this process, I realized that most of my failures had a less significant impact on me in the future. Looking back, it was honestly difficult to remember the specific details of my failures even though at the moment they seemed to be much more important. The failures that impacted me physically or mentally like doing badly on a test or getting hurt at dance seemed to negatively impact me more than failures involving hobbies or wants like not getting concert tickets.
My moth story was about when I was in Israel and my group was left in Tel Aviv alone during our scavenger hunt. Our group leader had to stay behind with our friend but the rest of us kept going – alone. We didn't know what to do or how to navigate the foreign city but eventually met back up with our group. From this experience I learned it's better to stay calm in these types of situations. During this presentation I think I explained the story well by using visual details for the audience to picture it better. I would tweak the overall message of my story and relate to other parts of my life. I really enjoyed listening to my classmates' stories and noticed how we all have similar experiences.
