The Montour County Planning Commission is responsible for leading the development of the Comprehensive Plan Update project. To broaden input and participation, the Commission pulled together a large, diverse group of 36 key stakeholders from across the county to serve as part of the plan's steering committee. This group meets bi-monthly during the project and ensures the plan considers all corners of Montour County. The overall planning process is guided by the EADS Group and Stuart Group Consulting.
The steering committee divided into groups to share their vision, build the plan brand, and establish project goals during their May 8, 2025 kick off meeting.
