Community Outreach & Engagement

Montour County: Forging the Future was shaped by ideas, priorities, and feedback from residents and stakeholders across the County. Surveys, public meetings, focus groups, community events, and Steering Committee discussions provided multiple ways for people to help guide the plan.

The planning team will be hosting a final Public Meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, to share the proposed Montour County: Forging the Future Comprehensive Plan.

The planning team hosted a pair of community outreach meetings in Danville and Washingtonville September 30th to hear the concerns and ideas of Montour County's residents.

Community Survey - Closed

A community survey was built to gather broad feedback from residents, businesses, and organizations in Montour County. The survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete and asks questions related to your vision for Montour County.

Outreach Event - Montour-Delong Community Fair

Members from the planning team hosted a table at the Montour-Delong Community Fair in July. They provided information about the planning process and ask passers-by about their vision for Montour County.
