Hi Duolingo,
I hardly ever post in these forums but I haven't seen an additional resources page in a bit, so I thought I would provide links to the ones that I have right now. This website has been absolutely amazing for teaching me the basics and have now had to branch into other resources (although I'll still come back to keep the tree gold, since it usually doesn't take very long). Anyway, I have a nice list of links to free resources which should help the people on here as well until the German Team adds more content. So, without further ado:
Websites Directed Towards German Learners:
https://www.clozemaster.com/ - Clozemaster, announced right here on its first day of launch and is good for refreshing your vocabulary. It also draws a huge database for German, which currently has around 180,000 sentences. I'm not sure if he refreshes the database (I might ask him if I don't see a higher number in May), but I've been using it almost every day and have only covered around 1,500.
http://tatoeba.org/eng/ - The database that Clozemaster draws from and is an amazing resource on its own. You can try translating sentences and the community will chime in to offer improvements. It is also completely open source, and may be a good resource for some of the course creators here (of course, after said creator opens up a dialog with the community at this site)
http://yourdailygerman.com/ - A nice little blog which explains German grammar and vocabulary in depth. It is amazing for learning about the different rules, tendencies and conundrums like "wenn vs. ob vs. falls)
http://lang-8.com/ - Excellent for practicing writing, just write something in German and a native speaker will correct it, usually after a day or two (although it can be sooner if you correct other people)
https://www.goethe.de/ - The Goethe Institute, has quite a few German cultural articles and some basic lessons. It also administrates the German Competency tests
http://www.memrise.com/home/ - The most common website to pair with Duolingo. Pretty handy for filling in gaps in vocabulary or practicing sentence structure
http://german.stackexchange.com/ - A question and answer site for various questions about German.
http://readlang.com/ - A good website for practicing your reading. It hosts a few articles but also has a Chrome extension that you can use. It is especially helpful for reading newspaper articles
http://www.dw.com/en/learn-german/deutsch-interaktiv/s-9572 - The DW German course, its taught in a standard way but does cover the B levels.
German content intended for people that can already speak German (newspapers, TV, etc.):
http://www.faz.net/ - The Frankfurt newspaper
http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/ - One of Zurich's two major newspapers, leans to the left (SDP and Greens)
http://www.nzz.ch/ - One of Zurich's two major newspapers, leans to the right (SVP and FDP)
http://www.spiegel.de/ - Probably the most renowned German news company
http://www.20min.ch/ - A more popular newspaper for Zurich, articles are easier to understand than TA or NZZ
http://www.der-postillon.com/ - The German equivalent of the Onion
http://www.heise.de/ - German language Technology news website
https://www.ndr.de/index.html - The North German TV station, which hosts many of its shows for free. Includes the Extra 3 satirical TV show
http://www.ard.de/home/ard/ARD_Startseite/21920/index.html - Germany's main public TV station, has a lot of excellent German documentaries and shows
http://www.arte.tv/ - A station jointly owned in France and Germany but has expanded to the rest of Europe. On the English page, you can find quite a few German programs with English subtitles (switch to the German version if you want German subtitles)
http://www.srf.ch/play/tv - The SRF website. Many documentaries are hosted here for free and many of their offerings are subtitled in German (good if you want to see some Swiss-German subtitled in Hochdeutsch
Whew, I believe that's everything, so I hope that you guys find something new in this list. Everything on this list is free (I wouldn't use it if it wasn't) but many offer premium options if you want to support them. Also, if anyone has any other free resources to suggest, please let me know and I'll update the post.

This is a collection of German links that I have collected over the months from different posts here on Duolingo.
I do not take any credit for ANY of these, whether they work or not.
This post was designed for personal use only and is not organized.
Please do not post on this forum.
If you have a link to add please post on my stream.
Please feel free to follow, as I will be updating as I find/receive more links.
Thanks.
