POSITION PAPERS

Please submit your position paper by October 18th to be eligible for a research award. To be eligible for any award, please submit your position paper before opening ceremony. 

Positions papers must be in MLA format, double spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt font.

Maximum 2 pages per topic, not including citations and sources. 

MLA citations and a works cited page required. 

Format:

Topic Background (~1/2 pg.)

Past International and Regional Action (~1/3 pg.)

Your Take/Perspective/Position on the Issue (~1/3 pg.)

Solutions and General Plan for Committee (~1/2 pg.)
