Note: Position papers are optional for the Crisis Committee, and only required if the delegate wishes to be considered for a research award. Delegates who do not submit position papers for the crisis committee are still eligible for committee awards, and are still expected to research the topic thoroughly.
Please submit your position paper by October 18th to be eligible for a research award. To be eligible for any award, please submit your position paper before opening ceremony.
Positions papers must be in MLA format, double spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt font.
Maximum 2 pages per topic, not including citations and sources.
MLA citations and a works cited page required.

Topic Background (~1/2 pg.)
Past International and Regional Action [for the Crisis Committee, please write your character's background] (~1/3 pg.)
Your Take/Perspective/Position on the Issue (~1/3 pg.)
Solutions and General Plan for Committee (~1/2 pg.)
