Campus Recycling & Sorting
In science class we did a project on recycling around campus. We took recycling bins from around campus, dumped them out, and sorted them. Our results from both times are below.
These are our final results. The mass of the recycling and the mass of the waste. Although there was a higher amount of waste collected, there was quite a bit of recycling collected as well . And we hope this presentation will help people, and students, recycle more. And be more conscientious about what they are putting into the recycling bins.

It may not seem like a big difference, but in the second collection date we found more recyclables. This may have been because of it being mentioned several times on the PBMS News, or because of all the bins around campus. We will do another collection date near the end of the year, and we hope to see even more improvement.
