Having a good work ethic is an important moral to all members of this club. To stay in Beta, you need to maintain a GPA of 4.5. Keeping this GPA doesn't rely solely upon one's intelligence. Our members have also developed impressive study habits. In and outside of the classroom, they are dedicated, motivated, analytical and critical thinkers, collaborative, self-disciplined, and effective communicators.
As a Beta, you will receive a seal on your diploma and are eligible to wear a stole at graduation. You have worked hard during your time as a Beta at RECHS. A Beta stole is something to wear with pride as it distinguishes you and your accomplishments from your peers. The stole represents all that you have achieved academically in the classroom, in the community through your service, and your successes at conventions.
A true Beta strives to be their best self. They are self-disciplined, determined, mindful, obliging, and leaders.
Communication is an absolutely vital characteristic of an esteemed Beta member. This skill not only expands your understanding but also enhances your professional skill set. The Beta Buddy system, established just last year, was created with a clear purpose, to unite our members and officers in true Beta spirit, leading through service together.
A self-disciplined person is one who has control over their actions. They don't need to be told to behave or not behave in a certain manner.
Someone who is determined will continue trying their hardest until they achieve their goals.
Our motto is to lead by serving others, it is also one of the most important pillars of Beta club! An exceptional leader is someone others look up to, and will help guide and inspire others. A leader is someone who will not only teach, but listen and learn from their peers.
Being obliging means you are eager to offer your services to those in need.
When you are mindful, you maintain awareness over your thoughts, feelings, and surrounding environment.
