Barnaby Black, Leader of the Cursed Carnival, wears a red-and-black ringmaster coat, black boots, and a tall hat. She is known for being Dramatic, commanding, and protective of the carnival. Barnaby claims she was organizing the evening's performance when the crystal disappeared. Investigators believe that Barnaby's motive is that the carnival's success depends on the crystal. If it disappears, Barnaby could collect the carnival's insurance money. She says she was in the main tent preparing for the opening show.
