For the snack shack, I participated in it for about 3 hours and it was a one time thing. It was one weekend on Saturday for ba baseball snack shack with a few other classmates.
I learned how to work as a team and I also learned more about how to run a snack shack. I would participate in this more but I found a better way to get community service I would try next year.
During Spring, I was Coach for a Recreational team named the Tsunamis. I was able to teach middle schoolers soccer. With another Coach, there was two practices a week with a game over the weekend. For six weeks, I got to work with the team and as my first time coaching, it was a valuable experience.
From coaching, I now understand how to teach effectively and also lead others. I learned control and patience as I had to work with players understand what to do. What helped me was communication. I talked with a lot of people for help including my parents, coach, players, parents, and the organizer. This helped me plan events and know who could show up. I also added in some fun events to help bonding.
