I chose this artifact because I felt it is a good representation of how I am able to not only work within the website but experience other forms of media. Through pictures came learning how to use a camera for the first time and ensuring I got the right angles to create a good photo. I also learned how to edit on Adobe Lightroom. I wanted to include this in my portfolio because I feel it demonstrates my variety of work and how I am able to step outside of my comfort zone within this publication.  

I chose this artifact because I felt it was a good representation of how I can capture school spirit through my photography. I feel proud of this photo because it was chosen for Front of Book and helped me to learn more about using camera equipment. I wanted to include this in my portfolio because it demonstrates some of the varieties of photos I have been able to take. Some difficulties I had with these photos were that I had a limited amount of time I had to take them because lunch is not very long. Overall, I feel they turned out well! 

I chose this artifact because I felt it was a good representation of my progress in photography throughout the year. For me, these were the photos where I was able to learn more about Adobe Lightroom and how to enhance photos. I feel that the only difficulty I encountered when taking these was the sunlight from outside. Something I am proud of with these photos was my ability to get them through coverage and published on the same day. Overall, I feel I did well with this coverage and am proud of these photos.

I chose this artifact because this was one of my first times photographing a big show in Meyer Hall. I feel it was an amazing learning experience for me, and I was able to learn about different types of camera lenses and which ones to use to get the exact shot I want. These photos also helped me to learn more about the rule of thirds and about telling a story through my work. I feel I didn't really have any difficulties with these photos, but I was able to learn that I don't need to take thousands of photos in order to get good photos.

I chose this artifact because these photos helped me grow a lot as a photographer. I was able to learn about the importance of shutter speeds on a camera when photographing fast-paced performances. These were also some of the first feature photo single shots I had gotten. I overall really enjoyed how these photos turned out and how much emotion I was able to capture from the performers. I was also able to learn about the importance of adjusting the settings of the lighting in the gym on these cameras.
