Tips to Stay Engaged
Here are some suggestions we would like to offer: (You may already being doing some of these)
Wake up and get ready for the day as if you were going to the building (shower, eat, get dressed, etc.)
Establishing a defined workspace free of distractions, interruptions and clutter...not your bed
Movement during breaks (just as you would in the building)...get the blood moving
Consider using a standing desk (use boxes, stack books, etc.)
Make A Schedule- Mark assignments on a calendar you check regularly, so you know what workload is coming in the weeks ahead and when it is due.
Establish a support “team” of other students within your classes to work with and interact with: ADAPT Peer Tutoring https://sites.google.com/stu.npenn.org/adapt/virtual-tutoring?scrlybrkr
Turn on your camera and participate in each class
Communicate with your teacher(s). They have many recommendations/resources for improvement.
