To visit our park in Hobart, Tasmania by plane, you’ll first need to book a flight to Hobart Airport, which is the main airport serving the city. If you’re traveling from outside Australia, you’ll likely fly into a major Australian city such as Sydney or Melbourne first, then take a domestic flight to Hobart. Several airlines, including Qantas, Virgin Australia, and Jetstar, offer regular flights to Hobart.
If you are coming by boat, you can arrive at the Port of Hobart. This is where cruise ships and ferries stop in the city. From there, it is easy to get to the park by taxi, ride service, or one of our park buses. Some boats also allow bikes, and we have safe bike paths that lead to the park for people who like to ride
You can also get to the park by driving. The roads are smooth and have great views, and we have free parking for cars, buses, and RVs. If you are using public transport, you can take a train to Hobart Station and then ride our free park bus to get here. You can also join a tour group, where a bus picks you up in Hobart or a nearby town and brings you to the park with everything planned for you.
At the Tasmanian Dinosaur Exhibit, there are a few cool ways to get around the park. You can ride on a big safari bus with a guide who tells you all about the dinosaurs while you see them up close. There’s also a monorail that goes above the park so you can see everything from up high. If you feel like walking, there are trails that take you through different parts of the park where you can stop to look at exhibits and take awesome pictures. No matter how you explore, you’ll have an amazing time seeing the dinosaurs.
