I made this emoji by first taking my vector graphics project and then deleting the x from it and then saving it using the file save as and then naming it emoji one and then the date code. Then I got to work changing the outer red circle to the emoji face and changed the gradient to gray. Then I changed the other circles to white with a black gradient the next circle to and eye color and then the other circle to black.
For this video I took the head I previously made and made some simple body parts with the ellipse tool using a gradient.
For the original I started by drawing a hydra to the best of my ability. Then when we started this project I got the scan and made it look a little bit better to me. Then I imported the revised version into adobe illustrator for my reference. Then I used the pencil tool to outline and used some gradients and shadows.
For this project I took my monster that I drew and took it in to photoshop to brighten and colorize it a bit more. Then I took the layer and put it into Adobe illustrator and lowered the opacity to reference. Then with the pencil tool I traced my monster and divided it into different body parts on different layers. Then I used a freeform gradient to a bit of a 3D effect. After that I put it in Adobe After Affects and started animating. For the tail I used the puppet pin tool. For the eyes I did a wiggle and for the head I used some puppet pins to make it move like that. I also keyframed bevel and emboss for the entire monster. The last thing that I did was apply a slight rotation to the heads. For the background you take a solid and then apply the fractal noise found in the effect column under noise and grain. then under effect and color correction you can find the tritone and change the colors to anything you like. For the background I also keyframed the opacity to let the monster shine.
