Here is my first emoji. I call her juicy (Lucy Chen reference if you know you know) because she has really big lips! I made this in Adobe Illustrator . I used the template which is down below the animated version of my emoji. First, I resized it and then it was really easy I just had to change the colors of the different layers and resize them. It was a little harder for me because I had to make the lips and it took some trial and error, but I eventually got it.

We also used adobe after effects to make an animation of our emojis. First, we had to actually make the body, arms and legs which was the hardest part for me. We did it with the ellipse tool and some other sculpting tools. Then we exported it out into after effects to animate it using keyframes. However, I didn´t get to animate it because I took too long with the face so I didn´t have time. 🥲
Here is the base I used for my emoji and the re colored circles down below. We used the ellipse tool to first make the circles. Next, we resized them, colored them and finally added dimension. To get the ¨ dimension effect ¨ we added inner glow and changed it to black so it could also look a little more vibrant.
So this part was very easy. All we had to do was duplicate the base (on top of this photo) and re-color it. There was settings on illustrator that picked the pallet for us if we wanted to use it. Like there was a food category, etc.
Here is my ELAR monster, which we had trace in illustrator using a variety of tools including the line tool. When we made this in class it was around the first week of school and we were refreshing our brains about prefixes. The assignment was to add prefixes and base words to create a monster, which is why mine has six arms.
Here is the drawing in illustrator after coloring and tracing, it looks kind of silly but it's okay. 🤗
