Architecture is a class only 8th graders can take for one of the path ways in it. For us this year 2026, Dr.Wood is teaching this class. She alright. She can be really funny in that way thats too honest and if you can't handle a joke, you'll cry. But she has a habit of punishing everyone for a few peoples actions.

Dr.Wood has us do a goal setting each 9 weeks. I hate this. This annoyes me to no end. We have to say what we "want" to do. I hadn't been at school for the first and second one which I don't know how I was absent for those days but I had to do my third 9 weeks about not being absent as much. I was TOLD to do that as it so yeah. We also had to talk about it to the class with a google doc. I named it MEAT IN THY SEAT. I didn't mean to make it kind of inappropriate but I had already finished it by the time someone said that people may take it that way. Now I didn't care about this so I did try to make it funny, and Dr.Wood also says that their not suppose to be funny. Yet my mother did them for businesses and made them funny sooo. Anyways, we had to say how'd we fix it, how it helps us, and how expections are good for us and the class.

Floor Planning
We started to learn about floor planning. We spent time to learn how write in the Architecture drafting, how to read them, how things are shown on a draft, and how the math works on it. We had spent time learning and writing in that style and learning how to draw a floor plan. We spent some time working in Sketchup for Schools, trying to remake the paper version using the demisions given on the paper. We also used chapters 13-14 from G-W Architecture Residential Drafting and Design 11th Eidtion by Clois E. Kicklighter W. Scott Thomas.
