Tech apps is where we learn about different digital medias and image formats. In this section, you will be able to see some of the work I did in this class!

Pixel Art

This first pixel art is from practicing conditional formatting. This character comes from a game called Project Sekai, who is one of my favorite characters in that game.

This pixel art was made for extra credit during Christmas, and for this project, I chose to recreate a candy cane.

Destructive Editing

First, I need to introduce you to the topic. Destructive editing is where you edit the original image instead of editing it over some kind of layer. When you save the image, it cannot be undone.

This project is my very first time using Destructive Editing.

In this image, I edited how bright the candle light is and made the white candle more visible.

Non-Destructive Editing

Non-Destructive Editing is pretty much the opposite of Destructive editing... once you save what you have done, you will always be able to go back.

This project is my first attempt and Non-Destructive Editing.  Notice how the images are blending into each other? To get this effect, I had to attach a reveal all layer mask, use the black paintbrush, change the opacity of the brush,  and then voila!

This image used to be black and white, so I added a little color, adjusted the color to my liking, and BAM! It looks like this image was never black and white!

Typing

During Tech apps, we also had to practice typing. Because of this, I stopped typing weird and gained more speed!

This is how I did in the beginning of the year...

And this is my most recent test! (Notice how my speed went up by almost 2x!!) 😱
