Dude, what the flip….Hi….
Cubes
Our first Sketchup practice with all the 3D tools
Everything presented on this page was made using SketchUp or Blender
This was made in SketchUp using the push/pull, rectangle, and line tools. It was meant to get to know the program because we would be using it for the rest of the year.
Like the Cubes, we stacked them to explore the tools; but moving the cubes horizontally and vertically.
3D Simple House
This was a really big project to explore our creativity and learn about 3D modeling in Sketchup
This is the 3D rotation of my finished and painted simple house in Sketchup.
This is a close up and detailed view of the front of my Simple House. It is like this to where you can see the window depth, the door frame/door, textures, and the doorknob.
This is a doorknob that I made in my extra time to make the front of my house more realistic. I also included a lock for extra, extra detail!
3D Simple House- Blender Animation
The rendered version of our simple house in Blender; we are working to rotate and animate it
This is our 10 second version of our rotating simple house animation.
This is the 3 second version, they were both mandatory to see what we knew about keyframes.
This was an extra activity in Blender. It represents party light glowing through the windows. This was really fun to work on and it was surprisingly easy! Its all about the keyframes of color!
3D Art Model
This is a 3D model that we were designing to be creative and unique.
The first few images were created using Sketchup.
This specific image was made in Sketchup by making simple shapes. After making the lines and circles, I used the Push and Pull tool to extend the parts into the air. For the surrounding 'mountains', I pulled on the center anchor point-where all the lines came together-upwards.
This is still the same model, but without the color.
This is my original creation modeled in Blender (professional 3D modelling software).
Rainbow Casam in Blender; but with special effects to make it more realistic and pleasing to the eye.
The final video including a backround we made in Adobe Photoshop, text animation in Adobe After Effects, and a 3D model made in Sketchup, rendered in Blender. Enjoy!!
This was just an extra thing where I wanted to see what the video would be like with the song from my My Favorite Things final video.
The song is called Retro Soul by Benjamin Tissot. You can find royalty free songs like this on the website, Bensound.
This is the background to the Final Video. The animation of the BG was made in Adobe After Effects, while the actual purple background was made in Adobe Photoshop.
