Jude Metcalfe - Vector Art

These are my sample graphics made with Adobe Illustrator. How these where made is by using the ellipse to to make circles in side of each other, add a gradient and change the colors. To make the circle perfect you press (Alt) and (Shift) and drag the cursor until it is the right size.

This was made by selecting the ellipse tool and creating a big circle and locking the layer that it's on so it can't move. After that you have to add eyes by making a circle and more circles on different layers while naming them to what they are called on the eye. To make the eye have a different shape, is by removing the original fade and replacing it with an inner glow. To add the eyebrows and the mouth you can use the line tool and adding effects with pucker and bloat or just use on of the presets at the top of the screen. Later I decided to add a shine on the head to make it more like an emoji; if you want to do that you can make a white fade to a transparent.

This was simply made by turning art I mad before into a 3D art work by selecting every thing, going to object, and finding the 3D tool.

These are made by adding a body

to the face and using Adobe After Effects to animate it.

The first one is made to represent the emotion ???

The second one is made to represent the emotion grumpy.

The actual animation is made from the puppet pin tool.

To use the puppet pin you click on different points you want joints and move them by dragging on them.

These are the Monsters Made in ELAR which look different because one is a recreation in Adobe Illustrator. How the illustrator one looks semi -3D is with the inner glow effect.

Some techniques I used for the monster were the shape select tool for the arms and inner glow to add a 3d effect to the monster.

This was made by using After Effects to animate a

recreation of the original drawing I made in ELAR.

The laser was made with a square with wiggle for size and the wave warp effect added as well as change in opacity.

I made this joke video which is based off of the intro animations of Youtube tutorial videos. The video is mostly animations and shapes found off of the Adobe bridge, which is a app which contains serval useful animations and code for all Adobe platforms.

This is the movie for the monster project. The blur effect is the directional blur in adobe after effects. It is a animation showing a gliding goober TM attacking another gliding goober with the one being attacked falling to the ground.
