      Me and Brian’s differences and similars

Brian is a character from a book called Hatchet. He has been through many struggles like surviving a plane crash, surviving a tornado, a porcupine and a moose, and having to hunt to get food or find food also, he struggles with his parents being divorced and arguing. 

Some struggles that I had, compared to brian are, Brian parents are divorced and my parents are not divorced but were super close to divorcing but they didn't. Also  Brian was not humble when he survived but I am humble. I know Brian brian is not very humble because when he survived the tornado and the moose he was taunting nature.

Which shows that he is not humble. Also I know his parents divorced because in the book it said “ The word divorced it’s a ugly word, that means fighting and yelling”.Then in the book it said “ I always knew my mom wanted to break up”. This shows how these two pieces of evidence show how Brian’s parents are divorced. And that compares to me because my parents were arguing and almost got divorced.

 Also me and brian had both got stung/hit by an animal. I know this because in the story I remember that brian got hit by a porcupine, and I got stung by a bee on my arm. I know brian got stung by a porcupine because in the story it tells you that he got hit by a porcupine and survived. This shows how I know brian got hit by a porcupine. Also when I got stung by a bee on my arm I was ok but it still kinda hurt. 

Also I had never been on a plane before and Brian has been on a plane before. I know this because in the story it tells the reader about how Brian was on an airplane, and it crashed in a forest. This shows how I know that Brian has been on a plane before. Also I have never been on an airplane and it is not because I'm or scared of it just because it's the only other place . This shows overall that me and brian have some common and some uncommon things.

Should Teens Have

 Part-Time Jobs?                               

Do you want your son or daughter or even your brother/sister to get money while they're still a teen? Well if you do then you will agree with me because I think teens should have part-times jobs. See there are multiple reasons why teens should have jobs. The first reason is responsibility, the second reason is savings and lastly it's to get things they want.

Okay so let me explain first up is responsibility when kids turn into teens they still need to learn responsibility especially when kids are 14-18 years old. The reason is when kids have jobs they can learn responsibility from what type of jobs they get; for example if a teen gets a job at a movie theater they can get responsibility when they have to clean up the trash on the floor.

Or when they have to lead/help people to where they need to go and what room. And with that type of responsibility teens can become very successful and organized later in their life. Second is savings. Teens can start to save money while they're still young so, once they get older they can have money that is saved up already and can maybe even buy a car depending on how-

much money they saved up as a teen. Or with the saved money you can keep saving until you have enough money to even buy a house while still at a young age. Teens can also help their parents with saved money like if their parents need a little more money to pay something like rent, or bills, teens can give them that money they need. And if your kid wants to go to college-

they can be able to pay for those classes with the saved up money from their part time job. Like when my sister had a part-time job so she could have some money for college classes. And finally teens can buy things they want. When kids turn into teens they explore new things like new fashion that fits them or electronics they want. Some examples are when kids turn into-

teens might like different clothes then they used to as a kid. Like I have a brother who used to always like to wear shorts and slides but once he turned into a teen he started to always wear pants with boots. But that was a long time ago now he's an adult and he still wears that. Also when teens have a phone or social media they can see cool things online that they might want-

to buy. And you might be thinking why would teens have part-time jobs when they have to focus on school instead and my answer is teens don't have to work on school days they can work on weekends or after school if they really want to. You might also be thinking what kind of jobs they can work at, as a teen they have the option to work at a 

movie theater, fast food place or-

something else you might want to do. So this is why I think that teens should have a part-time job not only just for responsibility, savings, or things they want but to prepare themselves when they become adults.
