Mr.Hicks first introduced Sketchup to us. Sketchup is a 3D modeling software used for designing, and planning projects in architecture, construction, and landscaping. But like the V

ector Arts project, we had to practice using Sketchup.

Cube Practice...

To make the cubes, we used the rectangle tool to make a square that can also be used to make squares. It didn't magically make the cube, but instead did a 2D shape. Then we grabbed the push-pull tool to pull up the square to make it a 3D shape. After that, we made 3 more cubes but bigger. It could've stayed like that but we could also stack them up for fun. Since I had extra time, I decided to do it. We also had to draw our names at the bottom with the pencil tool.

Our House

After the Cube Practice, we started building our house by using a variety of tools like the push-pull, offset, rectangle, and offset tool. Making the house was my favorite part and was super fun to make. I think the hardest part was making the windows, especially the little, circle one.
