I made this in Photoshop. Though it's thouroughly impossible to see, I included a tiny black circle inside all the other colors. I had to use Gradient to make the shading, and I used different kinds of lines to find this one.
This snip of the Sample Graphic will show you the colors that I used in the Sample Graphic, and all the tools that played a part in creating it. Fun Fact: One of the layers was actually an EMOJI, at least before the face disappeared and I changed the color. You can see the emoji at the next stop.
I also made this in Photoshop. I had to use various tools, and redo it many times until it was satisfactory. Some of the tools that I had to use are: the Gradient Tool, the Line Tool, and the Fill Tool, as well as the Drawing Tool. I tried to make the Emoji look as annoyed as possible, as that was my original idea. It seems I succeeded, would you agree?
This is what I turned in to one of my assignments, since I was not yet finished making my monster. I was coloring the body, before I put on the 'scales'. I also changed the colors a bit. Take the acid shrimp; instead of a mix of orange and light brown, it was bright green and shrimp-colored moisture rolling off.
It was difficult to make and animate my monster. First I had to draw my monster in another period; we didn't know that we would be animating it yet. Afterwards, Mr. Hicks introduced us to animating the monsters, and he showed us how to bring our monsters into our computers. We used Adobe, Photoshop, and Media Encoder to bring the monster to life, and to make a video that you can witness today. We had to trace the shape, fill in the colors, and use the correct tools to animate. I used Fill, Pencil, and Copy to make the monster. The monster includes a Dragon body and wings, cat ears, bird head and beak, lemur eyes -(or possibly raccoon eyes)-and tail, and acid shrimp.
This is my drawing of my monster from 5th period. After I imported the picture of my drawing into Photoshop, I used it to enhance the colors so it looks sharper and better.
This is my finished version of the video. After I finished animating it, I could focus on the background; I had to choose a color that wouldn't conceal the colors in the monster.
