I had to use the rectangle tool to make these perfect square bases. Then I use the Push/Pull tool to bring it up the perfect amount. Voila!
After I took the picture of the 4 cubes, I had to stack them and make a tower. During this process, I had to center the cubes on top of one another as perfectly as I could.
After I made the tower, I Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to make another one. For the snake and my name, I used the Freestyle tool to draw them. Then I used the Push/Pull tool to bring the snake up.
I had to use many different tools to create my house, some of them being: Offset, Push/Pull, Move, Line, and Follow Me. I also used various textures to make the house look as realistic as possible.
To make the keypad, I had to use the Line, Push/Pull, Eraser, 3D text, and Rectangle tools to create it. The 3D text made the #'s and letters. The line tool made all the lines you see, the Push/Pull brought the keypad, and the rectangle tool made the outline.
This is my Blender house video. I imported my Sketchup house into Blender, and used keyframes to create a 10-second video. The house spins to the right, rests for a moment, and then spins the other way.
This is a picture of my sculpture; I took it in Sketchup. It encompasses the whole model, and Sketchup makes it look a little animated.
It's the same picture, except I help down the scrollwheel and orbited until I had a view of the top of the sculpture. I also help down Shift + the scrollwheel to pan and put it in a position where nothing is being cut out.
Once again, I used the Orbit and Pan shortcut so I could get another view. I also used the scrollwheel to get up close.
These pictures are like the Sketchup ones, except taken in Blender, where they look more realistic.
This is a picture of my sculpture, but taken from above.
Once again, this is a picture of my Blender sculpture, but close up.
This is my 'Spinning Sculpture'. I used Blender to create this. First, I had to import my sculpture from Sketchup, and put it into full 3D. I used keyframes to make a 10-second video of it spinning one way, and then the other. Basically, it spins like my 'house'. This is my original model, before I changed the background color, and changed the colors on the sculpture a bit.
This is an extended, more colorful version of my spinning sculpture. I changed the background using the 'Shading' category. I also had to change certain areas of color to make sure that all the colors are visible. I also had to Pan and Scroll to various positions to get different views.
