The image above is the sample graphic that we made, in order to create the Emoji below. We designed and created the circles, and made them look 3D-ish. Along with thee base lines underneath them so it can be centered. We then made the circles into the Emoji faces that you see below!
Hello again:) The emoji above was made by me in Adobe Illustrator as you already read above. The emoji I chose to do was an Alien girl boss baddie. STORY: Once upon a time, a spaceship crashed into Earth, and the humans were confused. They were so focused on the front of the strange UFO and did not see this Alien girl boss baddie walking out the back. She gets human clothes and walks around the town, pretending that she is a human, and trying to fit in. She doesn't realize that it is not normal to have green skin, green eyes, and sharp teeth.
As you can see, the two images above are very different, one has a white background, and one has a transparent background. You want to have a transparent background for your images in most cases because you can animate them, and they look better and cleaner overall. To have a transparent background, you have to have a PNG file, not PDF, JPEG, or anything like that.
From our emoji, we made animations. We imported it to Adobe After affects, then we animated them to move with stuff.
The video you see above comes from a simple drawing of a monster we drew once in ELAR. We when made it brighter and more vibrant in Adobe Photoshop, then imported it to Adobe Illustrator, where we spent the most time outlining it, coloring it, and adding other cool stuff. After that, we began animating it! We started by importing the file into Adobe After Affects. And we learned so much from Mr. Hicks on different techniques and tools we can use to improve our monster. My monster, is named Thea The Diva. (Because she's a diva.) Which is in the image below.
And below you can see the animated GIF version of my monster. It might be a little small, but it is supposed to be because it is an animated GIF, and not a full resolution video.
Below is my original monster drawing that I made in ELAR (Mentioned in the first paragraph of me talking about my monster.)
