Starting off with Mr.Hicks

Things about how I made the slideshow of My Favorite Things. First off we were introduced to DATAtech.studio and to help us we listened to Mr.Hicks instructions. This really helped a lot because we could pause the video, AND he would baby us and go step by step explaining everything. (it helped). If we never had DATAtech.studio then I don't know how we would make our slides because all of the information is on there. In order to even have the slides saved we had to make new folders and files which it was really important to keep EVERYTHING organized, otherwise we could lose all of out information. It is very important that you put your files in the right folder and place. (don't trust quick access). We created the backgrounds using the gradient tool by ourselves, and every single background that anyone has made is different from one another.

Start of our Digital Portfolio

During week 8 we were just about to start on our very own Digital Portfolio, which is where we will have all of our experiences and things we did in MultiMedia. So far we only have My Favorite Things and we are about to start on vector art, I'm really looking forward to learning all of the things i'm gonna learn in this class.

Slideshow making

Once we started week 9 everything got way more interesting, we were gonna make our own slideshow. At first everything seemed so hard but once I got the hang of it I was getting it done fast. Once we got used to the program we had to insert images which was a good thing that we were organized so all we had to do was go into our folder and they were all there. After we added images we created effects to make the slideshow move from one to another by fading. Once we finished all of that we had to add zooming in and out using keyframes. It seemed hard but after I did it everything was easy.

My Favorite Things Slideshow

This is the finished product of my "My Favorite Things" slideshow. I worked really hard on this and added a bunch of things to it, like zooms, effects, and more! This is just the beginning of multimedia with Mr.Hicks.

Getting ready for Vector Art

Today is the last day of week 11 and we are about to finish with My Favorite Things. We turned in our video/slideshow and posted them onto the internet. We've done so many things with one slide about our favorite things, and it was a BLAST. I can't wait to see how exciting Vector Art will be!
