C.M - My favorite things

Our first project of the school year is the My Favorite Things project. We used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier to create everything. After a lot of hard work and editing we combine it all into a video like the one below. Each student made their own video for this project which you should check out. Anyway here's my final project, I hope you enjoy. :D

These are my titles for the My Favorite Things project.

I used the gradient tool in difference mode to create all of these. For this one I went with softer colors that blend well together.

I wanted something dark for this one, something that is both calming and eerie at the same time. I think it turned out pretty good in my opinion.

I wanted to go with a very desaturated red theme for this one. I like how the glow outlines the text on dark red background.

For this one my inspiration was coffee and the soft warm colors of cafes.

These are the images I used in the my favorite things project.

I had to go through a complicated process to find the best images that apply to the correct size and resaloution.

My favorite foods are all Japanese foods but you can find them in other places too. This one is a traditional ramen with very common toppings that you can find on most ramen.

This is onigiri. If you didn't know, onigiri is a rice ball with meat or fish inside and a piece of seaweed on the outside. There's a lot of other types of onigiri like sweet onigiri and onigiri with way too much seasoning.

This is mochi. Mochi is a soft dough with something sweet inside. Mochi is most commonly found with ice-cream or bean paste inside but you can find other things inside.

These are friendship bracelets. I've only received one in my life but it ment a lot to me. I have to wonder if I still have it cause I received it like 6 years ago.

This is a charm bracelet. You can put pretty much anything on it. I like to put soda tabs, random charms, and pins on them.

This is a kandi bracelet/cuff. The proses is kinda long and difficult when making one but you eventually get used to it. There are also many variations of kandi, like kandi stars, necklaces, keychains, ect.

These are some of the art styles I draw in. Of course, these aren't my actual art works. These are just images from the web. I may put some of my own art on the extra page though.

This is anime. Anime is a Japanese art style that is now used throughout the world. It consists of human and realistic features mixed with non human features to create a unique art style. But some anime looks completely different to actual real things.

This is still life. Still life is drawing mostly objects, sometimes people, completely still. It captures the beauty in every day things and turns something like an apple into a work of art.

This is cartoon. The cartoon artstyle has many variations. I did not draw this specific art piece but I may put some of my art in the extras page.

I edited most of my images for this project. First I added adjustment layers to brighten or darken. Then I adjusted the hue and saturation to make the images look more vibrant.
