This project all started by opening a program called "aiStarter" which allows the program MIT app inventor to connect to an emulator. The emulator is this program that allows you to test the apps that you've programed and also see how your apps look from a phone, tablet, and computer view.

This is what aiStarter looks like. Ai starter actually isn't AI. It's actually a program that types code into it to allow things to connect and work properly. Without this program you wouldn't be able to connect anything. Also, when there's an error with the program or an error with connecting, it will display the error in the program. The errors are long and contain what seems to be gibberish.
The code in the program can get quite complex. It's a good idea to organize the code into sections so it's easier to find what you're looking for. This is the code for Paint pot, which is one of the mandatory apps that we had to make for this project. Paint pot is basically a drawing app. The simplest way to discribe it is an app that allows you to draw, switch colors, and have cool effects.
There are three views that you can work with. The phone view (the one shown here), the tablet view, and the monitor view. Each view gets larger, though it doesn't look like it in the screen shots.
This is the tablet view, it's slightly larger than the phone view. It allows you to see more and add more to your apps.
This is the moniter view. It doesn't even fit fully in the screen shot, it's way bigger.
This is the emulator. The emulator allows you to test and see your app in the perspective of a phone. In the screen views above you can't actually test your app, you can only code your app. But with the emulator, you can. It allows you to test everything and helps you find any errors and bugs.
