Laylonie Ivey - 3D Models

These are the first 3d models we did. The dimensions are 5ftx5ft ,10ftx10ft , 15ft x 15ft, 20ft x 20ft.

It was very fun making these 3d models and even though it might seem hard its pretty easy to do.

This is the unpainted version of my 3d house. I kinda like the house better without any color yk what i mean. Like it looks way cleaner in my opinion.

These are the house model i did in sketchup, and the one on the right is my house in blender. I think the house looks way better in blender because I was able to change the lighting, and do way more stuff with my house to have a better look.

These are my 3 second, and 10 second spin of my house. At first adding the keyframes was confusing but i was able to figure it out! I think the spinning of my house came out good for my first time doing it. WAITT, also pleaseee put the videos in hd settings!

This is my 3d model in blender and the one on the right is it in sketchup. The sketchup image was when it was unfinished, but i was able to finish with getting the extra details in the end. If you want to see how my whole model looks watch the video below! I was able to do a better spinning video.

I want to explain a little bit about Sketchup. Sketchup is an app for schools to uses where you can make 2d shapes into 3d shapes in a instantly. But that not want Sketchup is all about, its about be creative with stuff not just making stuff out of shapes. The way you make things 3d is by using the push and pull tool. The push and pull requires you to click on the 2d object you have and pull it up to make it 3d. The way I made the camare move was by keyframing. Keyframing with a camare requires you to move find the exact movements for it to look right. As you can see at the end of mine I added to many keyframes, and that made it go to fast.

This are the keyboard short cuts, for sketchup. The reason the keyboard shortcuts are important, is because you won't have to go looking for them you can just use the short cuts for a very easy uses.

You can find high quality materials for you house, by to the warehouse 3d in materials to get the better quality materials I used for my house.

The way you paint with materials is by clicking on the spot you want to paint and going to materials , and picking the material / color(s) you want to use.

Blender is another app i used o for my models, and blender is a very good app for making 3d modles look beautiful, and having real qucik animations happen. I really liked using blender for my 3d house animation and added better effects for the model. Keyframing allows you to create animations to spots on your video. Keyframing is one of the things I used for the my favorite things video.
