Major Beverly Mock is an Air Force Junior ROTC teacher at Henry County High School (HCHS). This is her third year as an Aerospace Science Instructor at HCHS. She taught for six years before moving to Henry County as a JROTC instructor at Hopkins County Central High School in Madisonville, KY.
Prior to teaching, Major Mock she served for 20 years in the Air Force. She began her Air Force career as a public affairs enlisted Airman then earned her commission through the Officer Training School where she transitioned to a public affairs officer. As public affairs, she was responsible for directing the planning and execution of U.S. military outreach engagement programs throughout the European Theater. She was also responsible for developing and implementing media relations programs, internal communications, and multimedia policies for her commanders at each location. Her assignments included Montana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and several years in Germany. Major Mock is married with two daughters.
Chief Master Sergeant Tim Hughes is an Air Force Junior ROTC teacher at Henry County High School (HCHS). School Year 2025 will be his fourth year at HCHS as Aerospace Science Instructor. Prior to joining Henry County High School as JROTC Instructor,
Chief Hughes was the Aerospace Science Instructor at Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Tennessee where he taught for three years.
Chief Hughes served 27 ½ years in the Air Force as an Air Transportation Manager, retiring at the end of 2011. During his time on active duty, he worked in a variety of logistics positions in air terminal operations, passenger service, and cargo operations. He had assignments in Spain, Virginia, Turkey, Illinois, Italy, and Kentucky, serving over 14 years in the European theater of operations. At retirement he served in the highest enlisted grade representing the top 1% of the enlisted force. Chief Hughes is married with three sons and two grandchildren.
