Here's a picture of my Al Neuharth friends from from IL, NC, KS, RD, WY at our commencement ceremony. We were gifted our medals by Jan Neuharth, Al's daughter and CEO of the Freedom Forum and were excited for our boat cruise on the Potomac river to end our trip! 

Here's a picture of a few of us cheering on our wonderful adviser, Mrs. Brubaker as she hosted a session. We ended up answering questions at the end ourselves from the audience which was fun and insightful! 

This is a picture from when I paged for Kentucky state Representatve Mike Clines spring of 2025. This was a wonderful experience, and I got to stand in the press room that Governor Beshear takes his questions and does briefs in! I loved this experience and felt empowered. 

This picture was taken of me during our USA TODAY tour at the Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference. We sat with journalists from categories like sports, politics and editors who talked us through their day-to-day, experiences and resumes. We did a Q&A afterwards. 

Here's another Al Neuarth photo, we were listening to panelists from the Independent Florida Alligator, University of Florida's paper. They talked about setbacks, censorship and we later saw them win a Free Expression Award that day. They gave us contact information and we connected via social media. 

Here's a picture from the NSPA/JEA Philadelphia trip in November of 2024. We were on our tour of historic Philadelphia, on our way to Memorial Hall and stopped for a selfie. 

Here's another silly picture from that same 2024 trip. We were all very exhausted from our early morning flight on our first day that we all laid our heads down at dinner because we were so drowsy!
