I plan on making milanesa for my Spanish class. It is a thinly sliced fried breaded beef dish that is popular in Argentina. although milanesa is a style of cooking, it is special because you can use different meats for preparation, though it's typically made with veal.
2 lbs beef tenderloin/veal
2 eggs (Beaten)
1 lb breadcrumbs
2 cloves of garlic (Chopped)
3 tbsp parsley (Chopped)
Salt
Pepper
Vegetable Oil (Frying)
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
Cut the meat into very thin strips.
Add chopped garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to the breadcrumbs.
Pour vegetable oil into a pot and fry the meat. Since milanesa is thin, you don't have to fry it for very long.
OPTIONAL: Add a side salad, fries, or both.
