Davis Ashmun - President

Davis Ashmun is a Junior in Lafayette's Pre-Engineering program. Davis plays soccer for Lafayette and Lexington Sporting Club. His passion is giving 110% of his efforts in everything he does; he believes it is the best way to improve. This mindset is what fuels his desires and goals. He wanted to start this club to leave a mark on Lafayette and be a trailblazer in his community. His favorite drink is cold brew coffee.

Madden Mehrizi - VP

Madden Mehrizi is a Junior at Lafayette High School. Madden is in the Pre-Engineering program and plays lacrosse for Lafayette. Madden is hard-working and wants to strive high in engineering. He wants to make energy and vehicles more efficient and renewable and believes that the Generals Racing Club is a good place to learn and grow. His favorite drink is Virgil's Root Beer.

Gabriel "Gabe" Mullins - COO

Gabriel "Gabe" Mullins is a Junior at Lafayette High School and is in the Pre-Engineering program. Gabriel also Is in TSA and STLP, and has Lifeguarded at 3 different pools across Lexington [ Douglass, Tate's Creek, Castewood ]. Gabriel aspires to be a mechanical/electrical engineer in the future.

Luke "Luca" Wilkinson - Head Engineer

Luke is a Senior at Lafayette High School. He is in the Pre-Engineering program, and is also an Eagle Scout. He also plays ice hockey for the Lexington Thoroughbreds and plays Lacrosse for Lafayette. Luke is interested in studying mechanical engineering in the future. His favorite drink is Dr. Pepper.

Junto Takahashi - Social Media

Hello! My name is Junto Takahashi, I am currently a senior at Lafayette High School and am in the pre-engineering program. I am Asian American (Japanese) and my hobby is to draw. I am interested in studying Graphic Designer or Architecture. My favorite drink is Sprite or Ale 8.

Victoria "Vicky" Lamarche

Hi! My name is Vicky and I am Senior at Lafayette High School. I am in SCAPA for Visual Art and Pre-Engineering. I am the Social Media lead and I am working with the team to try and bring more people to our club! I hope to be a Mechanical Engineer in the future. My favorite drink is a Cherry Coke (with no ice).

Zach Hanna

Hi! My name is Zach, and I am a freshman at Lafayette High School. I like to ride my bike and CAD model in my free time. I would like to be a mechanical engineer when I am older. I am in the engineering department of the Racing Club. My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper.

Advisors

Mr. Hackman - Staff Advisor

Mr. Hackman has over 20 years of experience in a variety of roles including Navy Nuclear Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Senior Management roles within Amazon Operations.

Starting in 2022, Mr. Hackman transitioned from Industry to Education, and has taught Engineering, Robotics, and Marketing courses to more than 500 students (and counting!) at Lafayette High School.
