Formula SAE (FSAE) is an engineering education competition with the goal to get students to build, design, and race a race car. These cars must be kept within the rules and regulations that the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) provides. The goal of the Lafayette Racing Club is to build a vehicle by these standards and, hopefully, race it in the SAE international competition in Michigan. If not, we look to start a league here in Kentucky, with other high schools, and possibly local colleges competing in it.
