3rd Grade

Welcome to my curriculum extension web page for the third grade. Here you will find math enrichment for your child. All students need to complete the assigned math on their homeroom teacher's web page first. If you would like to extend and enrich your child's math curriculum while you are home-bound, you will be able to find resources here. Assignments found here do not have to be completed on the day they are assigned. Feel free to pick and choose to help differentiate and provide enrichment for your child. Of course, please email me with any questions you have with the assignments.

Thursday, March 19th:

Below you will find several print outs that will allow you to have hands on exploration with 3D shapes. Print them out and glue them together at the tabs. Come back tomorrow for part two of this project, where you can dive deeper into the characteristics of these shapes!

Wednesday, March 18th:

Click here to find some wonderful multiplication review fast fact worksheets. We have been using them as timed warm ups to help with our fact fluency. Start by giving your child 10 minutes to see how many problems they can complete during that time. Try to have them beat their score/time each day on a different version. Ideally, they will want to work their way to completing the problems in under 5 minutes. If you scroll past the initial worksheet, there are 22 different versions that can be completed to provide additional daily practice.
