Each Monday your child will bring home two homework sheets in their homework book – one Maths-based activity from your child’s Math teacher, and one Literacy-based activity. The expectation is that all students complete these before the end of the week, with homework books being collected in on Friday. On top of this, students should be reading each night.
The activities are designed to not require device use, and to take no more than one hour per week.
As the students are working on their Inquiry project, the first three weeks of homework will be based on this. Each student has been given a timeline to help keep them on track for completion of their project on their Google Classroom. It is important they try their best to stick to this, in order to submit their project by the due date. Students will have time in class to work on this with the support of their teachers, and will also need to complete their learning at home. Your child will be able to show you the timeline and project via Google Classroom.
