Spelling:
Spelling will be incorporated into our BSLA Reading Programme, with each student receiving words each week. They will receive a spelling lesson each week and complete supporting activities. They may also practise these words at home. Testing will occur on a Friday each week.
Their spelling words can be found on Google Classroom as part of their Reading Task Board each week. If your child is absent on the Monday, this is where they will be able to find them.

Basic Facts:
Students are given a sheet of basic facts questions every Monday to practice at home. When they are able to answer 47/50 questions correctly in our Friday test, they move on to the next sheet. Some students will have the same sheet for more than one week as they develop their maths skills.
Sheets are levelled at Stage 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8. The prototec website can also be used to support this learning.
