Term 3 - Place Value and Decimals

Overall themes are around understanding numbers and the value they hold, as well as how these can be manipulated. How place value knowledge can better support maths equations

To solve math's problems at Year 6, it is very important for your child to be able to instantly recall addition and subtraction facts up to 20 and to know their multiplication and division facts up to 10 x 10. This should be practiced daily at home in order to support in-class learning.

For Statistics, we will be doing in class activities as well as setting some learning tasks that start from Level 3 and progress through to Level 4. Students work at their own pace and can find the tasks on Google Classroom as they are uploaded.
