Writing Progressions Term 4
Writing progressions will differ from student to student but may include the following:
Editing: Make changes to writing to improve clarity and add effect, often in response to feedback.
Structure and Language: Use the text structure and language that meets the purpose for writing.
Ideas and Detail: Include details to support ideas.
Week 1-3: Students will plan and write narratives based on our Enviro Science topic this term.
Week 4-6: Students will be learn about an aspect of Enviro Science that they are interested in and use they information they find to make a presentation using a medium of their choice e.g. brochure, Google Sites, Canva
Week 5-9: Students will finish the year with a variety of different fun writing activities such as recipes/procedural writing, poems and Christmas choice boards.
