We have a new exciting Environmental Science Curriculum launching this year. The theme across the school is whenua/land. The Year 7/8 students will have a focus area of plants. We will be learning about:
Term 1: What was Papatūānku in Tāmaki like before humans and with the arrival of Tangata Whenua?
Term 2: How has Papatūanuku changed in Tāmaki with the arrival of Māori and Pākehā and up to the present day?
Term 3: What do we want Papatūānku in Tāmaki to be like in the future?
Term 4: What can we do to make a positive change for Papatūānuku?

Topic - The Olympics
We will be making the most of the 2024 Olympics by our topic learning from Weeks 1- 5 being about this exciting event! Starting off with a full immersion week for the first week back. This will consist of all the learning being Olympic themed.
The Year 7s will be hosting an Olympic themed assembly in Week 3. In Week 5 we will be having an Olympics celebration day.
