About the Teacher

Welcome to second grade!  

This will be my 37th year in teaching.  I am originally from a small town, Du Quoin, where beginning in 1988, I was a first grade teacher at Sacred Heart School for seven years. In 1995 my family moved to Belleville where I started my teaching career at St. Teresa School in the Second Grade.  Since then, I have taught every grade  but pre-school and kindergarten.

I have been married to my husband, Stacy, for almost 37 years.  We have two daughters, Jessica and Darby.  They both are St. Teresa graduates!

I am looking for to a fabulous school year!
