Year 12 Sport students continued their journey with the Charlton Athletic Community Programme last week at the University of Greenwich! πββοΈπ From campus tours to fitness testing, they explored degree opportunities and got hands-on with top-tier facilities. Last Friday, we had the fantastic opportunity to welcome the Globe Players, who brought Romeo and Juliet to life for our Year 7 and 8 students.πβ€οΈπ‘οΈ
Performed in the round, with the audience gathered all around the stage, the production offered an unforgettable, immersive experience π.
The actors were full of praise for our students, commending their maturity and enthusiasm as they engaged so thoughtfully with the playβs complex themes ππ.

Year 10 STEM Taster Day at the University of Greenwich
Our Year 10 students visited the University of Greenwich for a dynamic STEM Taster Day π¬βοΈ. The day was packed with engaging, hands-on activities β students created their own shampoo in the science labs while learning about the importance of consistency in formulations π. In engineering, they were challenged to construct the tallest tower using only straws and paper, fostering creativity and teamwork π€ποΈ.Β
Charlton Athletic Community Trust Programme
β½οΈ Our brilliant Year 12s wrapped up their Charlton Athletic Community Trust programme this week with a visit to The Valley!
Students took part in a series of interview tasks, finishing with a mock interview led by the amazing CACT team β a fantastic chance to sharpen their skills and gain insight into the world of professional sport ππ€
